St. Ann Catholic School in Cadillac, MI, is seeking an outstanding, highly qualified Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. The school offers an excellent academic program with a strong Catholic foundation for students Pre-school through 5th grade. Qualifications:

• Degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration or Equivalent Degree from a accredited college or university.
• Current teaching certificate issued by the State of Michigan or would be willing to renew.
• Preferred minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in education.
• Committed to Catholic education.
• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church.

Duties:

• School faith community leadership
• Instructional leadership and curriculum development
• Student affairs and discipline
• Maintain regular communication with staff members on an informal as well as a formal (regularly scheduled staff meetings) bases to foster an atmosphere of cordiality, to keep them informed and involved in school policy and program decisions, and to acquire a better understand of the staff member’ strengths.
• Coordinate efforts of entire staff so that the school operates efficiently and smoothly.
• Business affairs, creating and following a budget, tuition and scholarship management
• Development/Institutional Advancement and fundraising activities
• Carry out policies, regulations, and directives issued from the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools, and those applicable regulations required by the State.
• School Advisory Committee relations and attend all meetings
• Develop with staff a set of annual and long-range goals and objectives
• External affairs, community relations, and marketing
• Maintain contact with the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools by attending Diocesan sponsored meetings and events
• Supervise clerical activities and auxiliary services, such as cafeteria, janitorial and maintenance service.

Accountability:Hired by the Pastor of St. Ann Parish with the approval of the Superintendent of Catholic Schools; Reports to the Pastor and is evaluated by the Pastor according to the process established by the Superintendent of Catholic Schools. Accountable to the Superintendent of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Gaylord in certain matters where diocesan policy and direction are concerned.
Salary: Competitive within the Catholic school market for a full-time Preschool - 5th grade Principal.
