Job Location: Burlington NJ USA

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsible for analyzing sales data and forecasted information through MRP.

Follow company standard practices and procedures in connection with all materials department functions, from raw materials procurement to the manufacture of finished goods for distribution.

Internal Interfaces:

• Engineering - Request support documentation for materials, assemblies and artwork
• Quality Control – Follow Planning/Purchasing procedures
• Accounting – Purchase Order Entry
• Shipping/Receiving – Transfer raw materials to manufacturing plants and finished goods to remote warehouses
• Customer Service – Provide production schedule information

External Interfaces:

• Suppliers – place POs for raw materials, labels, packaging, accessories
• Manufacturers and Assemblers – Place POs for services or finished goods

DUTIES:

• Review MRP and back-order data daily
• Place and track Purchase Orders in Acumatica
• Enter Transfers and Production Orders in Acumatica
• Maintain sufficient time supply of raw materials and finished good at plants and remote warehouses
• Coordinate components to support the production schedule
• Create, maintain and adjust production schedule with plants and assemblers
• Liaison between plants/assemblers and Engineering/QC to troubleshoot production or quality issues
• Monitor and correct inventory errors when found or created

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• CPIM preferred.

  Specific Skills: 

• Strong analytic skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with the use of a computerized Material Requirements Planning system.

• Knowledge of materials management.

  Physical Demands:

• Most of the time spent sitting with occasional (less than 10%) standing, walking, stooping, or climbing in warehouse.
