firstPRO, Inc has partnered with a Boston based company that needs a contract Staff Accountant This position offers an opportunity for career growth as you’ll be helping with accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial data entry functions.
Job Details:
- Full-time: M-F
- Contract-hire (3 months)
- Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
- Boston, MA
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Work with manager to receive, review and enter invoices into the system. Help to organize invoices that need to be paid and help with weekly check runs. Running daily report to ensure that there are not any invoices that end up past due date.
- Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices and send to customers. Apply payments to customer accounts and follow up on any collections efforts needed.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations.
- Enter in new customer account information.
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Data entry experience
- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
- Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP systems
