Overview: We are seeking a Maintenance Helper to join our team. As a Maintenance Helper, you will assist in the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems - Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs - Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions - Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on a regular basis - Maintain inventory of tools and equipment - Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred - Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints - Proficient in English, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Excellent customer service skills Skills: - Supervising: Ability to oversee maintenance tasks and provide guidance to other team members. - CMMS: Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules. - Leadership: Strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of tasks. - Electrical: Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting. - Logic Controllers: Familiarity with logic controllers used in industrial equipment. - English: Proficient in English for effective communication with team members and understanding technical manuals. - Maintain: Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities. - Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal stakeholders.
