We’re looking for an Ultrasound Tech for our Scotch Plains, Woodbridge and Princeton, NJ Medical Practice locations. The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for perform vein screening and ultrasound scans. The ultrasound tech will work together with our Doctors and medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures
• Medical intakes
• Medical Notes
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures
• Assist in procedures
• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

Education:

• Associate (Required)

Experience:

• Sonography: 1 year (Required)
• Vascular sonography: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical imaging: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Preferred)
