Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive learning experiences
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, babysitting, or nannying setting
- Strong classroom management skills to effectively guide and redirect behavior
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and staff members
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent education
