Touchstone Communities is Hiring a Registered Dietician Near Brownsville, TX
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Public Health or related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience as RD; preferable in the long-term care industry.
- Ability to travel weekly in the greater Brownsville, TX market.
- Review Monthly weights and chart on variances.
- Chart on any abnormal labs.
- Chart on monthly Pressure Ulcers, Tube Feedings, Dialysis
- Conduct monthly in-service with dietary staff, complete agenda, and sign-in sheet.
- Obtain resident council minutes and address any concerns.
- Conduct monthly inspection and report findings to QAPI.
- Attend monthly QAPI meeting.
- Review emergency food supplies- rotate and replace items routinely.
- Ensure diet orders match current physician orders for all PO diets.
- Complete quarterly notes based on care plan schedule.
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, of the Food Services Department
- Must be able to read and interpret food service cost reports, financial data.
