Latitude is Hiring an AV Technician Near Broomall, PA
We are seeking an experienced AV Field Service Technician with expertise in Crestron and Extron systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing onsite support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for audiovisual systems installed at various client locations. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite visits to client locations for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of audiovisual systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Crestron and Extron control systems, audio processors, video conferencing equipment, displays, projectors, and other AV components.
- Perform software/firmware updates and system optimizations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and meet service level agreements.
- Document service activities, including detailed notes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users on the operation and functionality of AV systems.
- Assist with pre-installation site surveys and system commissioning as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on servicing Crestron and Extron AV systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing audiovisual equipment, including control systems, audio processors, video matrices, and displays.
- Strong knowledge of Crestron programming (Crestron Certified Programmer certification is a plus).
- Familiarity with Extron control systems and programming.
- Understanding of networking principles and protocols relevant to AV systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel to client sites as needed.
