Assists the Regional Director in all aspects of the administration and management of the program. Leads and directs team members in areas including but not limited to regulations/standards compliance, facility-specific human resources functions, budget development /monitoring, and implementation of the youth development system.
Job Duties
- Supervise Youth Development Staff directly.
- Monitor reports, forms, and admission packets to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
- Coordinate with Team Lead for timely completion of contractual requirements like drills and inspections.
- Manage safety procedures for the facility.
- Ensure compliance with the Youth Development System (YDS) among staff.
- Maintain facility cleanliness through daily checks and staff/youth encouragement.
- Assist Program Manager with Quality Improvement (QI) and COA standards compliance.
- Support fundraising efforts as assigned.
- Coordinate staff scheduling to meet licensing and budget requirements.
- Participate in community/regional committees or teams.
- Assist Program Manager with recruitment, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) food program and budget.
- Identify and organize training needs for Youth Development Staff.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in social work or human services and 2 years of experience working with children, or
- 2 years of college and 3 years of experience working with children
