• Assume leader’s role for project mechanical system design. Coordinate, assist or participate as project team leader for mechanical design and other tasks.
• Conceptualize initial design for existing or new buildings and develop comprehensive mechanical system scope & design.
• Supervise and/or prepare complete mechanical designs for building systems, HVAC, including preparing reports, calculations, sizing, layouts, drawings, specifications, and other documents
• Guide, mentor and develop junior engineers on project team.
• Assist in internal review, quality and building construction code analysis and develop design criteria.
• Attend meetings with clients and others for review, construction phase and as required.
• Supervise and/or conduct field meetings, construction meetings, condition-surveys and prepare engineering documents as required.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, contractors, clients, and others.
• Provide follow-up and engineering supervision during project construction phase.
• Contribute to development of office standards, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to established project goals and objectives including schedule and budget.

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Must have 5 years or more HVAC, building mechanical systems design experience, preparing drawings & specs for HVAC systems for large commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
• Strong Technical knowledge of simple and complex HVAC systems.
• AutoCAD proficiency and REVIT experience.
• Experience in engineering services during project construction.
• Knowledge of NY and NJ Building Construction Codes, Standards and applications
• P.E., LEED AP is preferred.
• Must have approved / accepted work authorization.
