Position: IT Systems Administrator

Reports to: Senior Director of Technology

Location: Hybrid position in Oak Brook, IL office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. Remote Tuesday & Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management: Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance and security to ensure seamless connectivity.
• User Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot various IT systems including hardware, software, and peripherals. Address and resolve user issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures and protocols to protect system integrity against cyber threats. Manage user access and permissions.
• Development: Educate end-users on the effective use of new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with vendors and external IT service providers to support system enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive records of technical processes and solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.

Qualifications:

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience also considered.
• Experience: 2 to 6 years experience in a lead role supporting IT; will consider highly dynamic entry level candidates with previous internship or practical experience in IT support or system administration.
• Technology Background: Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, M365, Intune, and Windows Support, etc. Experience with firewall management, and cybersecurity technologies a plus.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Attitude and Aptitude: Strong work ethic, eager to learn, and committed to providing top-notch customer service.

• Location: Must be able to commute to Oak Brook, IL to be considered for this position.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
