One of our exclusive partners is seeking a permanent Clinician to join their team ASAP in Bronx, NY. Applicants MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH due to treatment population.

NO HOME VISITS and NO WEEKENDS!

The Program’s services are provided by staff who receive specialized training in the special needs of refugee children. The program provides a safe, therapeutic environment in a family-like setting that addresses the requirements of each child/youth in a manner that is sensitive to his or her age; preserves cultural, ethnic and religious heritage; and meets dietary needs, native language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and other critical individual needs.

Responsibilities:

The Clinician’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Carry an assigned caseload
• Conduct mental health assessments
• Provide ongoing individual and group counseling
• Screen for human trafficking concerns
• Provide crisis intervention services
• Perform ongoing case analysis
• Participate in ongoing training
• Participate in case conferences
• Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree with corresponding licensure in psychology, sociology or other relevant behavioral science; LMSW preferred
• Knowledge of child welfare/child protective services
• Experience with Evidence-Based Models
• Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills
• Effective communicator with excellent writing and speaking skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
