The Addictions Care Center of Albany, Inc. is Hiring an Addictions Counselor Near Albany, NY
Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical counseling services to clients in recovery utilizing treatment knowledge, understanding of addiction, and application of addiction counselor knowledge to practical treatment of clients.
- Promotes the ACCA's services and obtains referrals.
- Writes effective treatment plans.
- Provides individual and group counseling as scheduled. Maintains a caseload of up to 35 clients.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation in case records according to agency policy and regulatory requirements.
- Assists in providing a safe and respectful environment for treatment.
- Attends and participates in all assigned meetings and committees.
- Other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the Program Director.
This full-time position will be located in our Outpatient Clinic.
