The Bronx Veterans Medical Research Foundation (BVMRF) is a Multi-Medical Center Nonprofit Corporation (NPC) which includes the James J. Peters VA Medical Center (JJPVAMC) and the Hudson Valley Health Care System (HVHCS). BVMRF enhances the quality of care and health of Veterans through research and education activities. We strive to serve our Veterans with the same loyalty, honesty, and integrity they displayed serving us.
The Bronx Veterans Medical Research Foundation (BVMRF) has numerous ongoing studies being implemented at the Bronx VA Hospital to meet the needs of the Veteran population. Location
The Registered Nurse – Research position is located at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center (JJP VAMC). JJP VAMC is affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (NYC), Columbia University, numerous Academic Nursing Programs, and the Hospital for Special Surgery. The medical center has a professional practice model and shared governance. It is located in the Northwest Bronx on a self-contained campus easily accessible by car (free parking for eligible employees) and public transportation.

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements and activities that are required to perform the essential functions of the position include, but may not be limited to, as follows: Must be able to occasionally lift, pull and push a minimum of 20 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, sit for extended periods of time, squat, kneel, and regularly use fingers and hands for computer work.
Salary and Benefits
$89,000- $103,000 depending on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
