Seres Smith Consulting is Hiring a Senior Staff Accountant Near Broken Arrow, OK
- Prepare journal entries as required by monthly close process by specified due dates
- Reconcile accounts as assigned by specified due dates including but not limited to intercompany for accounts receivable and account payable, inventory, prepaids, accruals and the company corporate credit card
- Preform analytics on accounts as required for monthly variance explanations
- Responding to and analyzing information requests from other departments
- Prepare schedules as required by the interim and annual audit
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Perform all work in accordance to ISO policy and procedures
- Strong technical skills in Accounting; GAAP knowledge required
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel), and accounting software
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Intercompany reconciliations and inventory experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- No direct supervisory responsibility. May perform team lead duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3 years’ experience working in in a similar position required
