Awholesale company is seeking to hire an AR Specialist. Lookingfor someone with credit and collections experience that can jumpright into the position.

An associate degree is required andideally looking for someone that comes from a wholesale or retailbackground. In this seat you will use A2000 which is Oracle based(no previous experience required).

The ideal candidate is detailoriented possesses strong communication skills and has previousexperience in a fullcycle AR position.

Responsibilities :

• Accuratelyand promptly process accounts payable invoices in compliance withcompany policies andprocedures.
• Reconcilevendor statements resolve discrepancies and communicate effectivelywith vendors regarding paymentinquiries.
• Prepareand process accounts receivable invoices and manage customerbillingefficiently.
• Monitoraccounts receivable aging follow up on overdue accounts andinitiate collection efforts asnecessary.
• Maintainprecise and uptodate records of transactions invoices and paymentsin the accountingsystem.
• Assistwith monthend closing activities including account reconciliationsand financialreporting.
• Collaboratewith other departments to resolve invoicing and paymentrelatedissuespromptly.
• Assistwith various financial projects and tasks as assigned by theFinanceManager.

Requirements

• ABachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field ispreferred.
• Demonstratedexperience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles with asolid understanding of accountingprinciples.
• Proficiencyin accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and MicrosoftExcel.
• Exceptionalattention to detail and accuracy in data entry andreconciliation.
• Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills capable of effectivelyinteracting with vendors andcustomers.
• Abilityto prioritize tasks meet deadlines and work independently in afastpacedenvironment.
• 1year of experience in relatedfield
• Experiencewith process improvements and efficiency enhancements is aplus.

BS in Accounting. Written and verbal communication skills to shareaccounting information when needed. Effective problem-solvingskills to identify and correct financial discrepancies.
