Most of our contracts are for 4 to 10 years so we are in a position to be able to recruit good people. Job Description Our group is a successful main contractor with an established reputation within the Wales and the South of England. Typical projects include response and planned maintenance and ad hoc projects across social housing and commercial sectors, and will include a blend of estimating and commercial management of live contracts. We pride ourselves on the accuracy of our pricing and your knowledge and care will help us maintain our reputation in this area. You will liaise with clients on pricing and charging matters and so your ability to communicate promptly, clearly and being helpful always will be paramount. You will need: Good experience working on social housing contracts.
Experience of working on the commercial aspects reactive and planned maintenance.
Experience is essential in coding/invoicing using SORs and the ability to build valuations using such methods.
Contributing to teamwork working with clients and subcontractors building on trust, honest relationship.
Assisting in all pre and post contract quantity surveying duties in the pricing of works and services and the production of tender documentation/schedules of works and any other contract documentation required for the procurement of such works.
Liaising with the Client, Contract Administrator and appointed subcontractors and accurately valuing in accordance with contract requirements and procedures work properly carried out on schemes and certify payments.
