At Blackburn’s, we are always looking to strengthen our organization by adding the best available talent to our staff and retaining our valuable employees. We’re seeking a manager for our warehouse operations in our Bridgeville Pa. location to manage warehouse and delivery functions

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and oversee all warehouse operations including but not limited to:

* Delivery and pick-up scheduling and log

* Daily receipt of ordered products in good condition, distribution of paperwork to accounting, inventorying

* Scheduled Inventory of owned products in a timely manner; submission of re-ordering data to inventory management

* Cleaning and maintenance of owned products and log

* Maintenance of company owned vehicles and log

* UPS shipping of products from warehouse

* Required to handle twenty four (24) hour on-call status when notified

Staff Education:

* Oversees training and staff competencies regarding knowledge of equipment

* Oversees training of delivery/pick-up protocols – patient home

* Oversees staff knowledge and understanding of JCAHO and OSHA guidelines

* Maintains and displays MSDS information

* Trains and enforces vehicle maintenance protocols; maintains vehicle maintenance log

* Trains and enforces safety considerations, including, but not limited to:

· Lifting and carrying product

· Movement of heavy equipment

· Delivery/removal of equipment into patient homes

· Proper forklift use

· Proper inventory/stacking procedures

Customer Service:

* Receive all work orders from Customer Service staff, Repair Dept., for repair of beds, chair lifts, hoyer lifts and all equipment not serviced by wheelchair service department

* Organize and schedule all repair activity

* Oversee completion of Work Orders for repairs:

• Completion of form, pricing and warranty information
• Entry of repair activity into repair notes for future reference

• Return of signed/completed work order to C/S, Repair Dept.

* Determine when repair is price prohibitive, coordinating decision with C/S, Repair Department

* Handles inquiries from all sales departments regarding products in stock, appropriate substitutes, etc.

Administrative:

* Attends manager training as requested

* Submits monthly Manager Report to CFO, by 10th of month

* Schedules monthly staff meeting with training objective; forwards minutes to HR

* Counsels staff as required, utilizing paperwork established in company policy

* completes annual staff reviews/competency reports

* Miscellaneous as requested/required

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

* Attends annual inservice on Infection Control

* Attends inservice on new product and technology, including setup and repair

* Views safety videos

* Avail self of audio and video tapes

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong leadership, organizational, communication and problem solving ability. Knowledge of and enforcement of OSHA Safety Guidelines. Knowledge of and enforcement of JCAHO guidelines. PA driver’s license in good standing – no current violations. Good general knowledge of PA, Ohio, and West Virginia road systems. High school education with additional schooling or credits desirable.
