Job Summary:
We are now seeking candidates to fill part-time and full-time roles as team members in our kitchen at Tasta Pizza & Taproom. In this position, you will prepare food and work with customers to fulfill their orders. We hope to find someone excited about serving the best quality food and being proud of what they're putting into our community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and procedures
- Taking orders in person and over the phone, while entering it into computer/POS
- Stock and rotate inventory (while doing everything possible to keep waste to a minimum)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic knife skills and food handling practices
- Familiarity with restaurant or catering operations is a plus
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately
Pay is determined by experience, hours, and time with the company. A review will occur after the first 90 days. Attendance, attitude, and consistency at work are the two main factors in your employment here.
