LHH is Hiring a HR Onboarding Specialist Near Bowie, MD

LHH is currently partnering with an organization Price Georges County area in the looking to bring on an Onboarding Specialist. Long term contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent employee. This position will be hybrid and require onsite work 1 day a week in office. The position will be between $23-$27 per hour based on experience. Prior HR experience supporting onboarding or recruitment is required. Please apply today for more details.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires
  • Develop and maintain onboarding resources, including checklists, handbooks, and training materials, to support the onboarding process.
  • Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in onboarding to inform ongoing improvements and innovations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in onboarding, HR administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with new hires.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Experience working with remote or distributed teams is a plus.
