Job Description:
St. Stephen Catholic School is seeking an experienced and passionate elementary teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a high-quality education to our students while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum and standards
- Teach religion and incorporate Catholic Christian values into daily lessons
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in school events and activities as needed
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Michigan teaching certification
- Experience teaching early elementary students
- Knowledge of Catholic Christian values and teachings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to learn and grow
