Job Description:

MassArt Library - Technical Services

• This student library assistant position serves as a member of the library Technical Services team.
• Library assistants are managed by the Technical Services staff supervisor and Technical Services staff and librarians.
• Primary responsibilities include processing newly cataloged books and other materials.
• Other responsibilities include checking the cataloging of books using the library's online catalog, creating enclosures and occasionally repairing partially damaged books, and accurately measuring items for bindery.
• Responsibilities may change in response to library priorities.
