Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

The role involves engineering and optimizing cloud services, with an emphasis on AWS, to support state-of-the-art application frameworks like AWS EKS. This role is vital in ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is not only high-performing and scalable but also cost-optimized.

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 7 years of experience with 5 years in AWS and/or GCP Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong background in designing, executing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, primarily in AWS, including services like EKS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
• In-depth experience with IaC methodologies using tools such as Terraform/Terragrunt and Ansible for efficient and replicable deployments
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications and in managing scalable and secure cloud environments
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and familiarity with FinOps principles to manage cloud expenditure effectively
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect) are beneficial
• Must be located in the Boston, MA area as in-office work is required.
