Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
- Monitor bank transaction activity and ensure cash is adequately posted to the correct general ledger account
- Create and maintain bank export profiles for electronic bank statement loads into different systems
- Create and maintain general ledger variants for account reviews
- Follow-up on accountant and / or business inquiries related to bank transaction issues
- Audit paperwork to ensure compliance with company document management and retention policies
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Provide administrative support for the accounting department
- Establish effective communication lines with other departments
- Protect organization’s values by keeping information confidential
