We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Specialist/Support to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our call center. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day technical support to call center staff, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of call center software and hardware systems.
Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and manage system performance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they affect operations.
Ensure all IT equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
Implement and manage network security measures.
Document IT processes, procedures, and policies.
Train call center staff on IT systems, software, and best practices to enhance productivity and reduce technical issues.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
Work closely with other departments to understand and support their IT needs.
Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to understand issues and provide clear, understandable solutions.
Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a call center environment.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN.
Experience with VoIP systems and call center software.
Familiarity with cloud services and data backup solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
