We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! We have a family - oriented boutique medical practice in Boca Raton.

You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Medical Assistant/ Vein Clinic Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Assist the doctor with procedures- minor foot procedures and leg vein procedures
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Setting up the back office for the day of patients
• Prepping patient rooms, bringing patients into the room and keeping the room clean
• Assisting the doctor with patients and procedures
• Taking X-Rays
• Follow up with patient calls
• Ordering medical supplies
• Answering the phone and scheduling appointments as needed

Medical Assistant/ Vein Clinic Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records

Bilingual preferred
