Description

Manage all inventory control procedures and inventory accuracy for multiple warehouse within Summer Garden Food Manufacturing. Works closely with personnel in Production, Warehousing, Purchasing, Finance and Sales to ensure greater than 98% accuracy and reporting of all inventory. Ensures continuous effort to strengthen company policies and procedures affecting inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate and optimal inventory levels. Manages recruitment and training of new and existing inventory employees. Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.

MANAGEMENT OF INVENTORY & INVENTORY EMPLOYEES:
• Distribute daily cycle counts and recounts (as needed) to warehouse associates
• Research all discrepancy counts
• Make inventory adjustments as necessary.

ANALYZE INVENTORY DATA TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL DISCREPANCIES IN MANUFACTURING:
• Research posting errors in production
• Document damaged raw materials into correct accounts for Finance monthly reporting
• Analyze lot codes within posting needs
• Research negatives on historical stock status report daily
• Manage posting of all raw material and finished goods from Manufacturing Software Vicinity with Inventory Control Administrator.

RECEIVING:
• Post all Raw Material and Packaging receiving documents in ERP system Great Plains (GP)

PRODUCTION MATERIAL CONSUMPTION
• Manage and collaborate with production personnel on usage discrepancies. 
• Notify management of any concerns relating to usage and consumption/shrink
Track close-dated and expired materials and work with Purchasing/Quality Assurance and Production on best strategies to exhaust prior to expiry.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse and inventory experience in related manufacturing area, food manufacutring is a plus
• Management experience of at least 3 years
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn and utilize warehousing scanning equipment and software packages
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
•  Excellent knowledge of data analysis
