Position Objective:

This role will be responsible for acting in the electrical testing process, performing tests according to national and international standards on single-phase, three-phase and evaluating the results and other similar activities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Record in WEG test system (ENS) the entry of the motors in the LAB;
• Read and interpret standards, procedures, specifications, drawings, measurement instruments and / or general guidelines regarding the activities to be developed.
• Perform Type and Routine tests on motors for audit, customers, samples, prototypes and development;
• Evaluate the result after the end of each test ensuring the reliability of the acquired value;
• Carry out minor maintenance, repairs and cleaning in machines, equipment and / or work place, aiming to keep them in perfect working and use condition;
• Give disposition on the results of the routine test, generate the reports of the performed tests, when necessary, and record in the test system (ENS) the exit of the motors from the LAB;
• Perform vibration and noise tests;
• Perform life test tests on motors to evaluate their components;
• Perform other tasks, related to those described above, according to the request of the immediate superior;

• Ability to read and interpret standards, procedures, specifications, drawings, electric diagrams, measuring instruments and/or general orientations regarding the activities to be developed.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment and motors, using hand tools and power supplies.
• Inspect electrical systems, electric motors, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with standards
