Summary

The Senior Accountant handles key accounting responsibilities including accounting and operational finance duties, as well as provides assistance to the Accounts Payable team with critical items on an as needed basis. This individual will play a key role in the company’s success during a period of growth and evolution.

Job Responsibilities

• Own and perform key aspects of the financial statement close process.

• Collaborate with Finance & Accounting department to contribute to critical monthly financial reporting.

• Evaluation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement results

• Assist the Corporate Controller to fulfill annual external audit requirements.

• Assistance in the integration of acquisitions; partner with the Corporate Controller, CFO, and third-party valuation firms to perform closing/opening balance sheet work.

• Develop, maintain, and distribute ad hoc reports and financial analyses as needed.

• Supports special projects and performs additional duties as needed to support the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in accounting required

• 3 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while improving skill and experience level.

• Energetic and positive attitude required to build relationships across the organization.

• Experience in a multi-site environment and/or healthcare organization preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel).
