Job Summary & Responsibilities This job will be a summer intern on the Onto Innovation's purchasing team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The opportunity will start in May and end in August. Candidate must be available for 40 hours per week. Responsibilities can include and are not limited to: -Assist team in moving non-conforming material into a scrap or repair loop. -Create process flow maps to identify opportunities to make buying processes more efficient. -Work with team members to execute on opportunities to minimize spend and avoid price increases and prepare for supplier negotiations. -Drive solutions to lower lead time on long-lead time items to make a more flexible supply chain. Qualifications Must be pursuing a bachelors degree and me on track to graduate in no more than two years.
