Salvation Army ARC is Hiring a Housekeeper (SLC) Near Bloomingdale, NJ
Responsibilities
- Complete all cleaning assignments as given by the supervisor in a timely and orderly fashion, following instructions and using the correct materials.
- Report any facility problems to the Supervisor immediately.
- Complete any spreadsheets as asked to show work done.
- Clean cabins, lodge rooms, residences and general areas as instructed based on weekly schedule and complex use, moving, preparing and cleaning as necessary.
- In Food Services, follows guidelines for that area and fulfills tasks as asked, accepting any duties assigned.
- Perform complex-wide laundry services as assigned by the schedule, using Complex Laundry at maintenance building and Lodge laundry.
- Wear appropriate uniform as assigned.
- Use correct supplies and equipment for the right surfaces, becoming knowledgeable in this area.
- Conduct all work and relationships at work in a professional manner, adhering to The Salvation Army Employee Manual.
- Scheduled to work from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM five days per week. The typical work week will be Mon-Fri, however this schedule may be altered to accommodate special weekend events. In addition, the mechanical worker will also be "on-call" for emergencies or special needs.
- Be willing and available to work special events as dictated by the Complex calendar
- Perform all other duties as outlined by Supervisor.
- At least 2 years experience in housekeeping or facility management.
- Valid Driver's License
- Familiar with guidelines associated with American Camping Association and Health and Safety Codes.
