Job DescriptionOutside Sales SpecialistLocation: Roanoke, VASalary: $45,000 - $55,000 Base Uncapped Commission (Yr. 1 OTE $80k )Benefits: Medical, Company Car Gas, Laptop, Company phone, PTO, and HolidaysJob Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: M-F, 40 hours (work longer hours as necessary)Start Date: ASAPTravel: locally during work hours, occasional nights or Saturday tradeshows, and networkingSponsorship is not availableOutside Sales Specialist DescriptionOur client is looking for an Outside Sales Specialist to add to their team in Roanoke, VA. Reporting to the Owner, you will prospect clients and fully meet their needs. Our client is looking for someone who is energetic, likes to engage with people, builds lasting relationships, and has a sales background. You will grow the commercial side of the business by nurturing existing accounts 20% of the time, prospecting for new clients 60% of the time, and checking in on the production of services 20% of the time. This role is highly focused on HUNTING your clients. If you are comfortable cold calling, knocking on business doors, and taking clients out to lunch, you will love this role. Note: Commission is paid as a percentage of gross margin. This is a great opportunity to join a fun, friendly team, and make a difference in your community.
Outside Sales Specialist ResponsibilitiesProspect new customer accounts in assigned territory (1 hour in all directions of Roanoke)
Manage customer accounts and relationships through job completion
Follow through on the entire sales cycle (varies: 1 week to a year-long with avg. deal being $10k)
Work cross-functionally with the team to meet expectations
Quote jobs and create bids/ estimates
Meet and exceed sales goals
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge
Advise customers on-site or during calls
Travel to client job sites
Upsell clients wherever necessary for a complete job
Manage production process to ensure client satisfaction
Follow up with customers, nurturing as necessary to secure the deal
Outside Sales Specialist Qualifications1 years of sales experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office required
Ability to travel locally required (Company Car Gas provided)
