At Spudnik, we are at the forefront of innovation in potato and other agricultural equipment manufacturing. Our Continuous Improvement team is dedicated to ensuring operational excellence by developing and maintaining clear, effective process documentation that supports decision-making and enhances operational agility.

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Engineer to join the Continuous Improvement team. This role is pivotal in analyzing, designing, and optimizing our manufacturing processes to achieve peak efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for continuous improvement to drive excellence in our manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties

• Analyze and evaluate existing production processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop, implement, and maintain clear and concise process documentation and flow charts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and production, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes.
• Utilize advanced data analytics and reporting tools to monitor process performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Design and implement ergonomic and efficient workspaces and workflows, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing waste.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational agility.
• Foster a culture of innovation and advancement, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient in data analysis and process modeling tools, with a strong understanding of ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing process improvements that result in measurable efficiency gains.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and innovatively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with teams across different departments.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of processes, equipment, parts, systems, tools, and machinery required in production and fabrication.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.
