Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial matters. With our core values in mind, the Accounting Manager will work to support business growth and ensure the integrity of our financial processes. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and execute monthly financial accounting closing process.
• Maintain general ledger and lead the reconciliation process for bank/cash accounts, balance sheet accounts.
• Routinely monitor cash accounts and cash position, record daily cash transactions, prepare cash forecasts and daily cash reporting.
• Facilitate monthly/quarterly financial and managerial reporting, provide timely and accurate insights to key stakeholders.
• Perform the payroll function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Process the employee and employer contributions to the 401(k) plan.
• Oversee employee expense reporting and reimbursement process.
• Provide financial analytics and insights to the management, supporting strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Oversee the AR and AP and bank reconciliation process,
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and ensure they are in line with best practices, review these periodically, and identify/analyze/research new processes and technologies that should be deployed.
• Develop and implement new policies, processes, procedures, systems, and software as needed.
• Manage the finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; CPA is preferred, Masters’ Degree preferred.
• 7 years of professional experience in accounting and/or finance.

· Previous management experience in an accounting/finance department is required.

• Expert in working with Excel; strong proficiency and consistent user of PowerPoint and Word (as well as the rest of MS Office Suite)
