Description

CREI Management, LLC is seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer to be headquartered in our corporate office in Birmingham, AL. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual marketing materials and aids to be used for advancing leasing efforts at CREI communities. Projects range from branding and logo concept development, brochure and flyer design, proposal assembly, exterior signage, and advertising efforts to include web banners, social media, billboards. etc. This position will collaborate with the Director of Marketing to create and manage both digital and print campaigns that drive online and foot traffic to the sites. Other responsibilities include assisting with various management services projects, including limited travel for due diligence or help during the summer turn period. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong visual brand identity across all marketing materials, beginning with logo creation and brand guidelines.
  • Design engaging and compelling graphics for print and digital media, such as brochures, flyers, exterior signs, business cards, presentations, website graphics, social media posts, paid media, email and more.
  • Produce graphic content for app/website interfaces and social media platforms.
  • Ensure consistency of designs and branding throughout all marketing materials.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
  • Retouch and manipulate images as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Marketing to translate messaging concepts into marketing materials.
  • Work with project management software to ensure clean workflow of projects through discovery, design, development, final approval, and delivery.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Provide expert design advice and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Work with CREI acquisitions team to create informational and debt report packages and marketing analysis presentations.
  • Work independently to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion to meet deadlines.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to team members and stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Manage Matterport scans and digitally edit files for 3D virtual tour presentations and photography capture.
  • Assist with planning and execution of annual Manager Summit and other corporate events as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in fine arts, graphic design, or communications)
  • 3 years of experience in graphic communications and digital design
  • Knowledge of graphic fundamentals, layouts, print, web, color theory and typography
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organization, and attention to detail
  • Refined editorial design approach. Includes an elevated understanding of hierarchy, typography, and image layout

Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operation office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to communicate or exchange information.
