SAP Functional Consultant

Cogent Integrated Business Solutions, Inc. has an opening for the position of SAP Functional Consultant (Ref# SFC223VL) to work in Bingham Farms, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Work as an SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) consultant to support businesses to maintain the SAP application. Work with the business team, gathering requirements, mapping into SAP, enhancing functionality if the requirement does not fit in SAP, and extending existing functionality. Provide solutions on-time to meet the SLOs (service-level objectives). Carry out regression testing for rollout projects. Provide global production support to make sure to resolve the issues within the SLAs (service-level agreements). Work on banking issues and changes to ensure a smooth payment and receipt process. Code, debug, and test programs using SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), and SAP Project Management. Integrate the SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) or EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) solution with SAP MM, FI/CO, and HR. Incorporate the intelligence for upgrading from an existing version to a later version, with the ability to foresee and effectively handle troubleshooting code. Perform UT (usability testing), SIT (system integration testing), and UAT (user acceptance testing) to make sure changes work fine. Prepare respective documentation to secure the evidence. Work on ad-hoc activities and critical issues to make sure business runs their day-to-day activities smoothly without any issues. Prepare and conduct workshops to confirm and enhance the existing user requirements within SAP. Conduct studies pertaining to the development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Use of SAP FI/CO, SAP ASAP methodology, SAP Ariba, and SAP S/4 HANA. Travel and/or relocation required.

Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including SAP Technical Specialist, Software Engineer, or related experience. Will accept 3 years of post-secondary education in any field of study and 3 years of related experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 6 months of experience with SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4 HANA. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
