THE JOB

Altana has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant.

This position will be responsible for general ledger postings, daily and monthly bank reconciliations, reviewing and sending daily funding files, and monitoring general ledger entries related to banking activities such as ACH, Debit/Credit Card transactions, and checks. This position will also assist in the completion of regulatory financial reporting, audit preparation, and other accounting duties such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.

The ideal candidate will have a background in both banking and accounting, have excellent problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to create and maintain accounting documents and reports within Microsoft Excel.

A two year or four year Accounting degree, or at least two years of related experience in the industry, is preferred.
