The school has a strong multidisciplinary team model.Position Summary: This is a Foundations classroom at KOG. Students ages 6-12 years with diagnoses of autism and developmental delays. Students require moderate to maximum support across all areas including: academics, adaptive behavior, activities of daily living, and social emotional skills. Students may also require assistance with mealtimes, bathroom and other activities of daily living. The classroom Teacher is responsible for all aspects of classroom management: curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Meets the needs of unique learners in the classroom through provision of accommodations, modifications and collaboration with related therapists. Specific Duties: Practices differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of students. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and ensures the success and safety of the students. Collaborates routinely with related service providers.
