This boutique family-owned real estate development firm is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries as well as perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Review accounting schedules, ensure AP/AR entries are entered into the system correctly
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of vendor payments
- Oversee and reconcile all intercompany management fees.
- Provide support for various accounting and financial initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a solid grasp of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prior experience in the real estate sector is highly desirable
- Ability to multi-task, highly detail orientated and self-motivated to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Quickbooks is advantageous and will be considered a plus.
