Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical claims and ensuring timely reimbursement. Your role will involve working with medical billing systems, coding diagnoses and procedures, and maintaining patient records.

Duties:
- Review and verify accuracy of medical documentation, including patient information, diagnoses, and procedures
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-9, ICD-10) to ensure proper billing and reimbursement
- Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit as necessary
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in medical coding practices

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical billing processes and systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding, and DRG classification
- Proficient in using medical office software for billing purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
