job summary :
Analytica is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a dynamic federal government project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of technical support and vision for implementing and managing hardware, software and network
responsibilities :
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) :
Install, configure and troubleshoot various desktop / server software applications and hardware solutions
Build standard Windows desktop which includes, but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and client specific applications
Windows server administration and Active Directory configuration.
Support servers including security configurations, patching, security vulnerability remediation and troubleshooting.
Helps develop and refine procedures for identifying and mitigating common system issues
Identify weak points or gaps in the systems architecture and provide recommendations for improving operations and the end user experience
Uses tools like Ansible, Puppet, etc. to implement automation of sysadmin tasks
Manages backups, off-site archives, and disaster recovery system readiness
Assist with a wide array of network and application issues, from printing, scanning, peripherals
Provide both on-site and remote support.
Assist with network implementations and projects
Analyze organization's needs, conduct technical research, and implement appropriate solutions to meet needs and comply with department standards.
