Boeing is Hiring a System Administrator 3 Near Berkeley, MO

As a Windows Administrator, your talents will help us bring logistics, manufacturing, and engineering into a seamless ecosystem. You will work directly on installing, configuring, and maintaining a secure network capable of running and supporting all of the tools, and more importantly, people involved in this mission.

This position directly supports our F-15 and F-18 Mission Systems programs, where we integrate navigation, communications, sensors, and weapons systems into a seamless platform for our military missions.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture

Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems

Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems

Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements

Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Active CompTIA Security certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)

3 years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10)

3 years of experience designing & implementing Windows Systems

3 years of experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting

Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5 years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support

5 years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies

5 years of experience with PowerShell and Linux scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets

5 years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

5 years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware

5 years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution

5 years of experience Integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
