The permanent position will work as a system administrator to support the classified programs during second shift weekdays and first shift weekends.
During the training period, the position will directly support one of our other classified areas in the region during the first shift, weekdays. You will train with, and support, our F-15/F-18 Mission Systems, Flight Sim, or St Charles programs.
Position Responsibilities:
• Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture
• Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems
• Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems
• Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements
• Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Active CompTIA Security certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)
• 1 years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10)
• 1 years of experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting
• 1 years of experience working within the DoD Risk Managed Framework (RMF)
• 1 years of experience with maintaining and configuring Active Directory (AD)
• Willing to work weekends as needed upon conversion to direct hire
• Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Top Secret clearance
• 3 years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support
• 3 years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies
• 3 years of experience with PowerShell and Linux scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets
• 3 years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
• 3 years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
• 3 years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution
• 3 years of experience Integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
