**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for behavioral health and patient care, with experience in addiction counseling and mental health support.
**Duties:**
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients struggling with substance abuse
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess the severity of addiction and mental health issues
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records of client progress
- Collaborate with medical professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in addiction counseling
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling or related field (LPCC, LPCA, CADC, LCADC, LCSW, CSW, LFMT etc.)
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and providing mental health counseling
- Strong understanding of medical records management and confidentiality protocols
