Eastmont Christian School is Hiring an Elementary School Teacher Near Bend, OR

Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young students and fostering their love for learning. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Use various teaching methods and learning technologies to accommodate different learning styles
- Provide instruction in core subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Incorporate hands-on activities, group projects, and educational games to enhance student engagement
- Assess student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra assistance or early intervention
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure student success
- Utilize behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license in Elementary Education
- Experience working with elementary school students in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education programs and strategies
- Understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Proficiency in physical education activities for young children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
