Regional Dietitian Responsibilities:

• As a regional dietitian you will assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of consulting in the food service department for the facilities in your region.
• You will schedule facility visits in order to assess clinical data and complete in-depth nutritional assessments.
• You will assist in policy development for budget development/compliance, menu development/review approval, equipment selection,and plans of correction for facilities in your region.
• You will participate in continuing education programs to be aware of current trends in nutritional care and food service operations.

Regional Dietitian Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in nutrition related field.
• Current, valid in-State dietetic license.
• 2 years or more experience in long-term care.
• A passing result in the Commission on Dietetic Registration exam.
