Partners Automotive Group of Bedford Inc is Hiring an AUTOMOTIVE TITLE CLERK Near Bedford, OH

Partner’s Automotive Group of Bedford dba Mazda of Bedford is currently seeking a Title Clerk to join our team!

This position is responsible for title paperwork, as well as daily administrative duties.

Pay will be based upon experience. This is a great opportunity to join a growing dealership!

  • Prior Title Clerk experience is required for this position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

ï‚· Proper tiling/registration of leased, new, used, wholesale and dealer trade vehicle

purchases *Titling and Registration include in and out-of-state.

ï‚· Checks for accuracy and confirms that the appropriate documentation meets requirements

for titling/payoffs. Communicate and follow up with F& I team, salesman and management for

missing or incomplete documents needed.

ï‚· Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder is listed before processing

title applications.

ï‚· Preparing checks as necessary for title work, dealer trades, customer refunds, lien payoffs

and taxes.

ï‚· Processing all titling documents through electronic vehicle registration program or through

DMV offices.

ï‚· Posting all titling transactions and monitor corresponding schedules in DMS.

ï‚· Mailing of Titles/Memo titles to customers & lien holders. Notify and deliver license plates to

customers via phone/mail

ï‚· Responds in a timely manner to banks/customers on title errors.

ï‚· Resolve titling issues as necessary. Maintain a list of all outstanding title work and report

any outstanding problem titles to management.

ï‚· Assists employees, clients and/or customers by answering questions related to titling

procedures and services

ï‚· Prepares sales tax/lease tax for monthly reporting.

ï‚· Staying current with title laws in multiple states.

ï‚· Aiding in office duties assigned such as filing, imputing new car inventory into DMS,

receipting money and backing up receptionist with incoming calls as needed.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

ï‚· Automotive Title Work: 2 years

ï‚· Dealership accounting, CDK, DealerTrack & Registration DMV experience helpful

ï‚· Must have a valid driver license/reliable transportation.

ï‚· Basic knowledge of accounting

ï‚· Attention to detail

ï‚· Notary is required or willing to obtain notary in a short amount of time.

ï‚· Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time.

ï‚· Strong computer, typing, and internet skills.

ï‚· Excellent telephone skills

ï‚· Highly professional and dependable

ï‚· Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
