New Age Logistics is Hiring an Accountant Near Bedford, OH
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
- Coordinate, monitor and oversee organizational and department budgets.
- Reconcile inventory valuation monthly. Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Monitor margin analysis at SKU level and by product.
- Proactively interact with management team to ensure all parties have a clear and accurate picture of the business unit’s overall financial performance.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to the general ledger.
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts monthly.
- Perform banking duties as assigned. Perform cash management including reconciliation of bank statements and monitoring cash balance.
- Review and assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Monitor accounting processes for internal compliance with GAAP.
- Support bank and external financial audits or reviews.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong ERP experience with NetSuite/Oracle a plus.
- Excel and proficiency in other MS Office applications.
