Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for service, testing, and Installation of fire alarm systems and devices.
Additional Responsibilities Of The Fire Alarm Technician Include
- Install and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devices
- Inspection of fire alarm and related systems
- Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and completed work
- Customer service, coordination, and communication
- Technical fire protection system project and administrative support
- Ability to work independently or supervise others as required
- Solid troubleshooting skills
Additional Requirements Of The Fire Alarm Technician Position Include
- NICET Certification Fire Alarm Level 1 or higher required
- Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email
- Strong customer service skills and communications
- Familiarity with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and local codes
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Fire alarm: 5 years (Required)
- NICET Certification (Required)
- Beaufort, SC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
