A&P Payroll Management is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Beacon, NY
Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team!
This is an hourly position that requires availability Monday- Friday and every other weekend from 8:00am-4:30pm.
Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation Nursing, a 160-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Beacon, NY. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with general maintenance of the facility building and grounds
- Performs preventative maintenance services for equipment
- Tours and inspects the building/facility for safety concerns
- Prepare surfaces for painting
- Paint and tile areas as assigned by the Director
- Provide remodeling/renovation as required
- Assist other maintenance staff as needed
- Snow removal during the winter season
- Lawn care other seasons
- Assist in outside errands for the facility
- Inspects the building for safety concerns
- Performs preventive maintenance services for equipment needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic skills of carpentry, painting, and
- Basic knowledge of maintenance techniques and tools.
- Must be reliable & keep to schedule.
- Must be a team player.
- Weekend availability required.
- On call and mandatory overtime when necessary.
- Prior experience in a health care facility preferred.
